Why I Became A Personal Trainer
I was recently asked the question “Why are you a personal trainer?”
Sure I can answer by saying it is fun and I enjoy it...
But, when I sat down afterwards and thought about it, my mind started to go a bit deeper. There’s much more to it than that and I wanted to see what I could come up with.
I got a pen and a piece of paper. And wrote the 3 main reasons I am a Personal Trainer. Under these headings I asked myself why and wrote the answer...10 times over.
For example one of the reasons was that ‘I like to help people’
WHY
Because I feel good when I help people reach their goals
WHY
Because I’m able to change people’s lives
WHY
Because I can resonate with where they are and where they want to be
WHY
Because I’ve been through my own transformations
WHY
Because I read and studied all I could health and mindset
WHY
Because I wasn’t satisfied with who I was when I was younger
......
DAAAAAAMMM AFRICA!

You can get pretty deep here...
It’s a bit of an eye opener.
In all honesty, as lame as the whole process sounds, I am now much more clear about what I do and why I do it, allowing me to provide a consistent and more positive service to my clients.
So what’s your ‘why’ for the things you do?
A little thinking can go a long way.
Sit down and write out a few of them; you may be surprised what you come up with...
